From 17th to 20th of July, 2010, H.E. Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs visited Japan within the framework of his private trip to Asia.
On 20th, July, 2010, H.E. Alawi met H.E. Koichi Takemasa, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs. They discussed a number of issues related to bilateral cooperation, as well as safe passage of the Hormuz Strait and relations between Japan and the GCC countries.
