After more than two years since the Great East Japan Earthquake in March 2011, Government of Japan and its overseas missions still receive valuable donations from all over the world. The Embassy of Japan in Oman likewise receives inquiries about the special donation account "Friends of Japan" up until now. In response to such warmhearted support and sympathy, the donation period has been once again extended through 31st March, 2014. Donations into the account will be later transferred to the Japanese Red Cross Society. The Embassy of Japan deeply appreciates solidarity and sympathy demonstrated throughout Oman.
