During all of the exams and meetings I
did to get the scholarship offered by the Embassy of Japan here in
Oman
, I have learnt at least the first glimpse of how the Japanese people are well
organized and very helpful. I had some administrative obstacles with the
ministry I work with to get the green light to go ahead with this scholarship.
However, the people here in the Embassy of Japan did whatever it could take for
me to get this scholarship. And thanks to God and then, I am about to travel to
Japan starting my PhD study.
In the End, I would like to deeply thank
H.E. Seiji MORIMOTO, the Ambassador of Japan, Mr. Tomohiro MIZUNO, the cultural
attaché, Mr. Mutaz Rahman, the cultural assistant and all of the people who has
helped me getting this scholarship. I hope to represent my country in the best
way I can and to be a “connection” between
Japan
and
Oman
for a better friendly relationship and future.

Dear Madam/Sir
I would like to take this opportunity to
express to you all, my sincere appreciation and happiness for making this golden
chance come true. I would also like to say a word of thank you for Mitsubishi
Corporation for partially financing this scholarship through the Ministry of
Higher Education (MOHA).
As you are well aware, it is not easy to
send a young girl to study abroad, especially on this part of the world, and
therefore, the decision was not to easy to take, when I had to withdraw from
S.Q.U. However, I feel I made the right thing, and did not want to miss this
opportunity to study in one of the worlds’ leading country in various fields,
especially in Technology, where Japanese products known for their qualities.
The opportunity to study, live the
Japanese way of life, explore the rich culture of Japan, has always been my
dream, that, you have made possible for me to see and live…, so thank you, and
all the staff of the Japanese Embassy in Muscat.
Finally, I look forward to studying in
your great country and fulfill my ambitions, and be able to serve my country
when I come back.
Yours’
Nidhal Humaid Saif al-Jaradi
