The New Year Reception 

 The New Year Reception for the Japanese community in Oman hosted by H.E. Seiji Morimito, Ambassador of Japan and Mrs. Yoshiko Morimoto, was held at the Ambassador’s Residence on 19^th January, 2011.  The Japanese residents being far away from Japan enjoyed the New-year’s dishes specially prepared for this occasion by the Chef of Ambassador’s Residence and renewed their friendship among them.

 After the buffet, as the celebration of  the New Year, those who were born in the Year of Rabbit pounded steamed rice wishing for their fortune and prosperity throughout this year.
