The Embassy of Japan in the Sultanate of Oman, in collaboration with the Scientific College of Design, will present "Japan Day" on 15th May 2012 at the College. The function is part of the commemorative events being held in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Oman, and with the aim to introduce contemporary Japanese culture in Oman.
During Japan Day, entries in the Manga competition earlier held by the Embassy, and advertising photographs (APA Award-winning photos) will be exhibited. The highlight of the event will be a special live concert featuring May J., a J-Pop (Japanese Pop Music) singer who will visit the Sultanate from Japan on this occasion. Don't miss the first J-Pop concert in Oman! There will also be a J-Pop fan meeting for a select audience on the same day.
