Special Exhibition "The Dolls of Japan"
As part of the commemorative events celebrating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Oman, the Embassy of Japan and Oman-Japan Friendship Association, sponsored by Oman LNG, present a special exhibition, "The Dolls of Japan," from 27th November through 2nd December in cooperation with Qurum City Centre.
Japan enjoys a rich culture of dolls. Each doll has its own distinct meaning and purpose, and is deeply connected to daily life. Japanese dolls are characterized by their serene facial expressions and colourful costumes. In the exhibition, some 70 sets of dolls are displayed.
Come and enjoy fine examples of the Japanese culture through dolls with your family members, friends, and colleagues.
