On 7th October, Ambassador George Hisaeda invited Japan Music Project Troupe who were visiting Oman and representatives of the Japanese Community to his residence for a chat.
On 15th October, Ambassador George Hisaeda attended the opening ceremony of Japan Anime Day that the Embassy of Japan organized in cooperation with the Scientific College of Design. On this occasion, Mr. Kuniyuki Aoki, Producer, and Mr. Hirotsugu Kawasaki, Director visited Muscat as lecturers. Both of them are involved in the production of NARUTO, a Japanese anime.

On 22nd October, Ambassador George Hisaeda invited Mr. Hideki Togi, a Gagaku (ancient Japanese court music) performer and his troupe who were visiting Oman, and representatives of the Japanese Community to his residence for a chat.
On 6th November, Ambassador George Hisaeda invited representatives of Japanese companies participating in the Business Delegation organized by JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), and business people from Omani corporations to his residence to exchange views.
On 9th November, Ambassador George Hisaeda held at his residence a salon concert performed by Ms. Saori Jo (piano), Ms. Kaoru Kiichi (soprano), and Ms. Mai Munemoto (flute) who were visiting Oman. He also invited music aficionados and those related to music to his residence for a chat. The three artists performed three times during their stay in Oman including a concert held at ABA (American British Academy).

On 13th November, Ambassador George Hisaeda, together with Japanese children residing in Muscat, encouraged Japan's national team players who were visiting Oman for the football match against Omani national team in the 2014 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
On 14th November, Ambassador George Hisaeda joined a ceremony arranged by Oman Football Association (OFA) before the qualifier between Japan and Oman in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

On 23rd November, Ambassador George Hisaeda attended the opening ceremony of Oman Century Ride 2012 that was held in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Oman. He also invited the participants and the people involved in this event to his residence for a chat.

On 1st December, Ambassador George Hisaeda invited about 100 children from Al Sahwa Schools to the Japanese Doll Exhibition that the Embassy of Japan held in Muscat to mingle and play with them.
On 3rd December, Ambassador George Hisaeda held the National Day Reception at his residence.
 
On 8th December, Ambassador and Mrs. George Hisaeda cast overseas ballots for the 46th general election of members of the House of Representatives.
On 12th December, Ambassador George Hisaeda held a Japan Fan Club meeting in his residence.
On 16th December, Ambassador George Hisaeda invited Ms. Mariko Mikami, a journalist who was visiting Oman to his residence to exchange views.
