The Embassy of Japan, in association with the Oman Japan Friendship Association and in cooperation with some Japanese companies in Oman, organized Intensive Japanese Language Course from September 27th to October 27th, every Sunday and Tuesday, at the Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).
Basic conversation skills were taught by Mr. Saleh Harith Mansoor Al-Amry (Diwan of Royal Court) who had studied in Japan and mastered the language. During total 10 lessons, participants enjoyed Japanese conversation using such words as "Konnichiwa (Good afternoon or Hello)" and "Arigatougozaimashita (Thank you)" which they just learned.
H.E. Seiji Morimoto, Ambassador of Japan, delivered a short remark on the first day, September 27th to the participants. Certificates were presented to participants who completed the course on the final day, October 27th.
