The Embassy of Japan organized "Japan's Day" on February 8th at Sohar University as a cultural exchange activity between the Embassy and universities located outside Muscat.
H.E. Seiji Morimoto, Ambassador of Japan, gave a lecture about the bilateral relations between Japan and Oman in the lecture hall of Sohar University.
Thereafter a presentation on experience in Japan was given by a teacher of Sohar University who had stayed in Japan, an orientation about studying in Japan was conducted by former scholarship students, then a Japanese film "The Twilight Samurai" was screened. Additionally, a traditional Omani lifestyle was exhibited and a traditional Omani food was offered, and thus active exchange was observed.
