The College of Commerce and Economics at Sultan Qaboos University organized an event entitled 'Spotlight on Japan' on Sunday, 28th February and Monday, 1st March.
During the period, many people visited the exhibition, which students of the college took the initiative to plan and manage it. Based on their achievements of study, they explained actively various topics such as Japanese culture, industry, economy, and the relationship between Oman and Japan to visitors. H.E. Seiji MORIMOTO, the Japanese Ambassador, attended the opening ceremony on Sunday, 28th February and gave a short speech.
The Embassy of Japan lent them some Japanese items that they requested to borrow for the event. And Japanese volunteers also cooperated with them in the manner of performing Japanese traditional calligraphy (Shodo) and paper folding (Origami).
