Japanese Embassy participates in Global Higher Education Exhibition(GHEDEX) (April 30-May 2)

      From April 30 to May 2, the Embassy of Japan participated in Global Higher Education Exhibition (GHEDEX) for the first time ever, held at Oman Convention and Exhibition Center (OCEC).  Supported by Japanese government sponsored project ‘J-MENA’ and Omani alumni of MEXT scholarship students, the Embassy promoted study-in-Japan to around 600 visitors.
      On April 29, Ambassador Yamamoto attended Opening Ceremony, and HE Rahma Al-Mahrooqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, visited the booth of the Embassy and J-MENA.

      On May 3, Ambassador Yamamoto received a call of Dr. Khaoula Bensaida, J-MENA Office, Kyushu University.  Dr. Khoula visited Muscat to support the embassy’s activities to promote study-in-Japan at GHEDEX
