Professor TAKAHARA Akio delivers lectures at National Defence College and Diplomatic Academy (September 24 and 25)

On September 24 and 25, Professor TAKAHARA Akio, University of Tokyo, visited Oman on the Japanese Foreign Ministry’s programs and delivered lectures on ‘Japan’s External Policies’ at the National Defence College and the Diplomatic Academy.
Rear Admiral Ali Al Shidi, Commandant of National Defence College and HE Dr. Zainab Al Qasimiyahi, Chief of Diplomatic Academy welcomed the professor at each venue.  Questions from the participants, which made the program productive to both Japan and Oman.
 

     

Professor TAKAHARA Akio receives interviews from of Omani media (September 24 and 25)

On September 24 and 25th, Professor TAKAHARA Akio, University of Tokyo, visited Oman on the Japanese Foreign Ministry’s programs and received interviews from Mr. Moosa Al-Farei , Editor-in-Chief of Atheer and Mr. Assem Al-Sheidi, Editor-in-Chief, Oman Daily and exchanged their views on various topics.
     

Ms. YAMADA Miki, former State Minister of the Environment of Japan visits the Sultanate of Oman

 From September 24 to 27, 2023, Ms. YAMADA Miki, former State Minister of the Environment of Japan, and Secretary General of Japan-Oman Parliamentary Friendship League, visited the Sultanate of Oman to make a keynote speech in Public Cleanliness Symposium hosted by the Environment Authority.
 Ms. Yamada met with H.E. Khalid Al Muslahi, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs and H.E. Abdullah bin Ali al Amri, Chairman of Environment Authority to discuss Japan-Oman relationship. Honorable Sheikh Dr. Al-Khattab bin Ghalib bin Ali Al-Hinai, Deputy Chairman of State Council and Sheikh Said bin Hamad Al Saadi, Deputy Chairman of Shura Council welcomed her at the Council of Oman and provided a guided site tour and briefing. During her stay, Ms. Yamada had a frank discussion on various topics with the Japanese corporation representatives based in Oman.
