Meeting and Signing of MoC between MOE and EA (May 13)
On May 13th, Vice Minister for Global Environment Affairs Yutaka Matsuzawa, the Ministry of the Environment of Japan (MOE) participated in a meeting and signing ceremony with H.E.Dr.Abdullah Bin Ali Al Amri, the Oman Environment Authority (EA), at the EA headquarters. They signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) in the field of environmental cooperation. Ambassador Serizawa also attended the meeting and signing ceremony. Moving forward, further deepening of environmental cooperation between Japan and Oman is anticipated.
Ambassador Serizawa Visits Atheer Digital Solutions, Media and Electronics Publishing LLC (May 15)
On May 15, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa visited the headquarters of Atheer Digital Solutions, Media and Electronics Publishing LLC and was briefed on the project's digital activities and achievements. During the visit, several topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance future cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and Japan in areas related to Atheer services were discussed.

Ambassador Serizawa Visits Karate Class Led by Sensei Farid (May 18)
On May 18, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa visited a karate class led by Sensei Farid Shuheibi of the International Shotokan Karate Federation - Oman. During the visit, students performed kata demonstrations, and Sensei Farid provided an overview of the history of karate in Oman.

Ambassador Serizawa Meets with Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs (May 20)
On May 20, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa paid a courtesy call on H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Issa Alharthy, Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Foreign Ministry of Oman and reviewed the contents of the 8th Japan-Oman Foreign Policy Dialogue held in Tokyo last month, in which H.E. Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy represented Oman. They confirmed their commitment to further develop bilateral relations based on the dialogue.
Ambassador Serizawa Meets with Minister of Information (May 22)
On May 22, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information. They exchanged views on topics such as media exchanges between Japan and Oman and the importance of the role that media plays.
