Ambassador Serizawa Meets with Shura Council Chairman (April 17)
On April 17, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa paid a courtesy call on H.E. Khalid Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council, during which they exchanged views on recent international affairs.

Ambassador Serizawa Meets with Chairman of OJFA (April 23)
On April 23, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa met with Sheikh Abdullah Mohammed Bahwan, Chairman of Oman Japan Friendship Association (OJFA), to discuss cultural exchanges between Japan and Oman, as well as the current economic conditions in both countries.
Signing of ROD between JCAB and CAA (April 22)
On April 22, H.E.Eng.Naif Ali Al Abri, President of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa atttended the Record of Discussions (ROD) signing ceremony between the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) and CAA, held at the CAA Headquarters. As a result of the discussions, a framework was established under the Japan-Oman Air Services Agreement to expand both the capacity and the entry points in Japan for air services operated by airlines of both countries. It is expected that this development will further promote people-to-people ties and economic exchanges between Japan and Oman.
Ambassador Serizawa Meets with State Council Chairman & Diplomatic Academy Head (April 28)
On April 28, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa paid a courtesy call on H.E. Sheikh AbdulMalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, and exchanged views on recent international developments.
On the same day, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ambassador Sheikh Humaid bin Ali Almaani, Head of the Diplomatic Academy at the Foreign Ministry of Oman, and received a briefing about the academy. They also exchanged views on ways to strengthen Japan-Oman relations.
On the same day, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ambassador Sheikh Humaid bin Ali Almaani, Head of the Diplomatic Academy at the Foreign Ministry of Oman, and received a briefing about the academy. They also exchanged views on ways to strengthen Japan-Oman relations.
Ambassador Serizawa Attends the Launching Ceremony of the Documentary Film “Mudira: A Story from Oman” and “the Omani-Japanese Relations Corner” (April 30)
On April 30, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa attended a preview screening of a short film (produced by Counsellor AlKharusi of the Foreign Ministry of Oman) honoring the achievements of Dr. Suad Al-Mudhaffar. Following the screening, he participated in the opening ceremony of the 'Oman-Japan Relations Corner' at the National Museum of Oman with H.E. Eng. Salim bin Nasser bin Said Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, and listened to an explanation of the exhibits by H.E. Jamal bin Hassan Al-Moosawi, Secretary-General of the Museum.
