Ambassador Serizawa Visits Youth Center (May 27)
On May 27, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa attended the closing ceremony of the Japanese Package (workshops) held at the Youth Center in conjunction with the recent opening of Expo 2025 Osaka/Kansai. During the ceremony, participants of Japanese language and manga courses presented the outcomes of their learning, and participants of the Cabinet Office’s international youth exchange program “Ship for World Youth” shared their experiences from their recent visit to Japan.
Courtesy call on Ambassador by JS Asahi CO & JCG SDIT Leader
Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa recently received a courtesy call from Commander Shota Takashiro, Commanding Officer of JS Asahi, which is serving as the 50th Deployment Surface Force for Counter-Piracy Enforcement, as well as from Commander Shogo Tokunaga, Leader of the Japan Coast Guard’s Somalia Dispatched Investigation Team. Wishing them a safe and successful mission.
