Ambassador Serizawa Cheers on Japan at Cricket World Cup Qualifier (October 9)
On October 9, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa showed his support for the Japan Men’s National Team as they competed in Oman at the ICC T20 World Cup Asia and EAP Qualifier.
JCG Somalia Dispatched Investigation Team Leader Meets with ROPCG Commander (Oct 20)
On October 20, CDR MATSUBARA Hiroaki, Leader of the Japan Coast Guard Somalia Dispatched Investigation Team, paid a courtesy call on COL Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Jabri, Commander of the Royal Oman Police Coast Guard (ROPCG). During the meeting, CDR MATSUBARA introduced the team’s mission and reaffirmed the commitment to maintaining and further strengthening the strong relationship between the JCG and the ROPCG.

Ambassador Serizawa attended the second edition of the Duqm Economic Forum 2025. (October 27)
On October 27, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa attended the second edition of the Duqm Economic Forum 2025. The forum was attended by H.E. Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, H.E.Eng. Salim bin Nasser bin Said Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, and H.E.Sheikh Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy, Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ). During the forum, an MoU was signed between Japan’s Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line) and Port of Duqm Company. In addition, a strategic partnership agreement was sined between Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation and Energy Development Oman (EDO).
