Ambassador Serizawa Meets with FMES Representatives to Discuss International Affairs (July 8)

 On July 8, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa exchanged views with Mr. Pascal AUSSEUR, Director General of the Foundation for Mastering Strategic Challenges (FMES), and Dr. Pierre RAZOUX, Academic and Geopolitical Director of FMES, on international affairs and other matters.

 

Ambassador Serizawa Visits Bodhi Life Skills Karate School (July 12)

 On July 12, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa visited Bodhi Life Skills Karate School at the invitation of Renshi G. Kumar, Founder and Chief Instructor.
 During his visit, the Ambassador encouraged the karate students and offered special words of support to those who will be traveling to Okinawa to participate in the 3rd Okinawa Karate World Festival.

 

 

Ambassador Serizawa Visits Aikido Dojo (July 27)

 On 27 July, Ambassador Kiyoshi Serizawa visited the Oman Aikido Dojo in Muscat at the invitation of its founder, Sensei Nima GolGol.
 During the visit, Ambassador Serizawa watched aikido demonstrations by Mr. GolGol and the dojo’s students. He also presented promotion certificates and new belts to students who had recently advanced to the next rank.

 

 

Embassy Receives Corona Chronology from Oman Observer Journalist (July 30)

 On 30 July, the Embassy's Cultural Section welcomed a visit from Mr. Kabeer Yousef, a senior journalist with the Oman Observer.
 Mr. Yousef recently published “Corona Chronology,” a book documenting four years of reporting and research on the response of the Sultanate of Oman during the COVID-19 pandemic. During his visit, he presented a copy of the book to the Embassy.
