Japanese Illustration Online Competition
 The Embassy of Japan in the Sultanate of Oman announces the Japanese Illustration Online Competition for all residents in Oman of any gender, age and nationality.
 The theme of the competition is in relation to Japan such as: landscapes, nature, tradition and culture. A work which may infringe copyrights and image rights such as a character in Japanese animations, manga, movies, photographs taken by others, a real person and etc. is prohibited. Submission deadline is September 30, 2020. The winner will be announced by early October.

●Competition details:
  1. A work must be made by the applicant himself or herself. However, a representative can submit the work upon the request of the artist.
  2. Both handwritings and digital artworks are eligible for this competition.
  3. An applicant must agree with the use of the work by the Embassy for unprofitable purposes.
  4. The Embassy will announce the winner and his/her work with his/her consent. If the winner is a minor, The Embassy will get an approval from a person with parental authority.
●How to Submit:
  1. Submit a soft copy of a work to the Embassy’s e-mail address (The volume of the data has to be less than 8MB.).
  2. Make sure to put the applicant’s copyright symbol on the bottom-right of the work.
  3. The application form and the letter of consent completed by an applicant himself or herself are also to be submitted.
●Prizes:
  1. A Certificate of Commendation by the Ambassador of Japan to the Sultanate of Oman
  2. Goods related to Japan
