Courtesy Call: JCG Piracy Investigation Team Visits ROPCG (July 16)

On July 16, CDR KENNO Naoki, Commander of Japan Coast Guard Piracy Investigation Team, paid a courtesy call to COL Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Jabri, Commander of Royal Oman Police Coast Guard (ROPCG), to express gratitude for ROPCG’s support in anti-piracy operations.

SWY Committee-Oman Receives Certificate of Appreciation (July 18)

On July 18, the Embassy of Japan in Oman presented Mr. Adil Alshanfari, President of the Ship for World Youth (SWY) Committee-Oman, with a letter of appreciation from Japan’s Cabinet Office. This recognition acknowledges the Committee’s role in hosting the 14th SWY Alumni Association (SWYAA) Global Assembly in Muscat last November.
