The Winner of Japanese Illustration Online Competition

The Embassy of Japan in the Sultanate of Oman is pleased to announce the honorable winner of Japanese Illustration Online Competition closed on September 30. The winner is “Mr. Bob Hoffman” and his work is shown below. In addition, the Embassy has received much more applications than we expected, so decided to specially award “the Ambassador’s Prize” to “Mr. Mohammed Ali Hilal” and his work is also shown below. The selection of the works was done in cooperation with the Japanese Association in Oman. The awarding ceremony by H.E. Ambassador KOBAYASHI Toshinori will be conducted soon with precautionary measures against COVID-19.
We sincerely appreciate all the applicants for participating in the competition and submitting the amazing works. In a way that suits the new lifestyle and environment, we will hold more events related to Japanese culture in which everyone can enjoy.
